Every submission is vetted by a human, and this involves editing information prior to listings going live. Featured sites have the ability of deep links, in-text link anchors and RSS feeds. Standard submissions are free, though a lengthy waiting period is expected due to editors reviewing each and every submission by hand.

Arts, Artists and Artisan Directories
This top level category is very broad and encompasses all manner of arts, artists and artisan related directories. Artistic topics range from art supplies to basket making, craft tips and reources, digital artwork and photography, and illustrative fields like calligraphy, animation and comics.
Many of the directories which are actually called "craft directories" cover much more than just crafts and crafting, and as such we have placed them in this top level category because they appeal to a much wider artistic audience
