I am using stumble upon for traffic. what i do on SU is:

Bookmark My website's page and share among the friends.
Thumbs up my friend's pages.

Could somebody tell me the tips to get More Traffic from Stumble upon?

I had started something and now your message reminds me that perhaps I shouldn't have stopped...

Whenever someone submitted a listing for an exceptional site, I would "stumble" their site and tell them I did so. Quite a few folks hadn't heard of Stumble and/or offered to Stumble my site.

In my acceptance letter I included something about loving when I was able to accept sites as exceptional as theirs and therefore also Stumbled it to help them get even more notice. Again, I only did it for exceptional sites, not every site.

not only Stumble you try other more high pagerank social bookmarking sites like
digg
mister wong
diigo

if we want to use stumble for traffic purpose then first we have to build our network on it then after with the use of internal media we promote our website with our networks

Stumble upon is good source for traffic but there are many social media site where you can get high traffic by submitting your website in it.
