Our new blog directory is www.submitblogs.com , and im hoping for feedback regarding out categories, layout, and options.

we are new to the directory world, so please, be kind... this is our first attempt.

Not bad work with the template modifications...

But personally i feel having google product referals in the sponsers is a bad idea as no one ever downloads it.... text or image ads would be better and ya, i thought the maximum google product referals u could have is three not four ???

Also having the google ads at the bottom is pointless as no one will ever click on those, it would be better if you integrate it with the body

And lastly i feel you should offer free submission to get you directory started, you could be picky with the free submissions.

I will only comment about how I felt as a potential submitter/client:

Seeing the many adult and casion cats, I have immediately got a feeling that this directory will mostly server as backlink-source for many in the above named industries who have plenty of money and thus can afford to list every of their doorway junk blog site. And that's not a place where I would like to be listed, due to more reasons.

Anyway...this might be as well your goal and I have nothing against it, it would be as good goal as any other.

I would tend to agree with Tomas in so far as the first thing that caught my eye was Adult and Casino.

The advertising is also very heavy on the site. I would disagree with Kiviniar on no one clicking Google referals as sponsor. I get boatloads of clicks on the referal ad I have listed on one of my sites. It is the most difficult to convert though. Basically the person has to click the "Use Google Adsense" ad, then they have to signup to adsense, then they have to make $100 in 6 months? Something like that. Once they do all that you convert that sale and you get $100 yourself. Meanwhile you make x times that amount with the standard ads
