After the SEO pros took their latest swipe at directories via that bit of link bait without any factual information to back up their claims, it's no wonder that the "pros" are now offering a new service for their clients. Removal from evil directories that have been deindexed.

The directory mentioned, according to conversations I've had with Dan, has been penalized for some time. Who knew people in India bought each other so many flowers?

I don't know if the SEO people are in cahoots with the person who posted his spurious linkbait (not going to give him any more credit or links than he already has received) or they are simply among the gullible folks who believed it. Either way, it's just nasty business when folks go around selling their services by attacking someone else's site.

What makes Craig an even bigger SEO dunce, is that no one really was tracking directories "penalisation" before penguin OR panda. So coming out and saying that the penalty is related to either, is an assumption.

What that means is that Craig's SEO knowledge is based on assumptions. That to me is far scarier prospect than submitting to a couple of penalised directories (because penalties get reversed all the time).

However, undoing the mess Craig's SEO work leaves a site in, could be impossible. Beware!

I told you. The flower test is brilliant. I wouldn't mind betting Google added it to their algo. I hope they put a naming credit alongside it, or a sexy avatar of me! hahaha
