I combined half a dozen lists I could find for 2012, which gave me around 600, I used excel to sort the data and knock out a whole stack of duplicates.
Then I found another list with ping sites that weren't working and I've removed them.
Currently have around 250, however I expect to get rid of another 50-100 duplicates (www vs non-www).
Edit: There will be around ~150. Looks like there are quite a few that are just URLs which also duplicate with their RPC or ping URLs
