Hi Dan,

Last night (UK time) when I was accessing this site I received a couple of errors from MagpieRSS where it couldn't access the remote site. The result was it output the error message to the top of the site resulting in content before headers (I'm afraid I didn't write down the full errors) which caused a failure to display the forum page.

You should be able to disable the display of error messages or tweak the code so that if the feed fails to be read it is silently ignored, it might be something you want to look into.

It happens because of the Latest Blog mod plugin. It's something that I will have to remove/replace when I upgrade the site.

One of the members, Bernard, actually gave me a very good fix for it, but I just simply haven't had the time to implement it.

I might get a chance sometime this week to have a look... though it is probably easier to just remove all mods, upgrade the forum, and then put back what works.

RSS is a notification system used to alert subscribers to changes made to their favorite web sites, blogs, music sites, etc
