We have just completed a huge update of our blog list. We know have list of 400 blog directories and 150 RSS Feeds. The information is well organized and up-to-date.

You are right. Even some of the high PR Feed sites have changed or are gone. I spent a lot of time reviewing the blogs but not the feeds. I'll do that today. Please visit the feed list tomorrow (once the cache has refreshed).

I gave AMRAY a bad review.

This person emailed PMd me a bunch of times to change the review. I was called all kinds of names and threatened. I didn't change the review. He started making personal attacks and is now stalking me.

Today, starting to fear for my family I decided to delete the directory from the list. It will be gone when the cache renews tonight.

He is still not happy. This person has way too much time on his hands and I have no interest in debating him.

I’m sure you had your reasons to say:
Too many submissions are rejected…
An excessive amount of confusing guidelines…
The time required to make a successful submission cannot be justified

Lets start with first line. I don’t know about your experiences but I know that our Editors reject 90% of sites because they are nothing less than spam submitted by ignorant so called SEO Professionals who are never read Guidelines and try to dump their garbage as if they submit to born yesterday directory.

What would you suggest we should do if we see worthless spam loaded URL? Should we add it just so you can report that AMRAY accept every piece of junk? Please advice us how we should treat the spam, because after all you are one of few who are better that others know more than just something about directory business.

Your second point says that we use something that hard to understand. Would you mind to give us some examples of what you find confusing so we can go back and to fix problematic guidelines?

To be honest, I’m not sure what you are trying to say about time it takes to get listed and why you think it makes any difference when you get listed? Please give us some idea what is in your opinion would be reasonable amount of time given that directory is getting between 500 and 1,000 submissions every day.

I hope you won’t have any problems to answer these easy questions

As I said before this review was written a year or two ago. The AMRAY submission rules are been rewritten and are much clearer now. At the time there were contradictions and some grammar that didn't make sense.

I submitted 8 sites including web-directories.ws and they were all rejected. I emailed AMRAY and received a totally unprofessional response.

By "time required to make a successful submission" I meant that it wasn't worth a submitters time to spend 10 minutes trying to understand the submission rules.

As I said before I don't have time to get into a prolonged debate, especially with someone that starts his discussion by calling people names.

do not submit - More that 1 URL per month from the same IP address. Our SPAM filter will see it as spamming

I'm sure this thread will provide some answers as to why web-directories.ws, was rejected and when.
From what I can see our staff tried to work with you and to get you listed.

I can assure you that 1 URL from the same IP address per month in there for as long as I can remember.

Lets just stick to the facts, shall we?
