SEO Friendly Certification

I have decided to introduce an SEO Friendly Certification Button for those directories who wish to indicate that their directory has been validated by me as an SEO friendly resource.

NB: There are two rules when using this image.

1. The link to this site's homepage MUST remain as part of the image display. If it does not, then you are violating my conditions for use of this image.

2. You cannot display this button unless your directory is on either the General, Pay-For-Inclusion or Niche Directory Lists on this site. If you are not on these lists, then you have not been certified by IVS as being SEO friendly.

To use the SEO friendly certification button on your site simply paste the following code, where you want the button to appear, on your site.

There is no need to download any images. The code will grab the button from my site, saving you bandwidth. The dimensions of the image are 88 x 31.

The following directories are scheduled for review and addition to the next Info Vilesilencer update. If your directory isn't listed below it currently is not under review. Please submit your directory in this thread if you wish to be added to the SEO Friendly Free Directory List next update.


Inclusion Rules
=============
To be listed on info vilesilencer your directory must meet the following criteria.

* Must have a UFO (unconditionally free option). No reciprocal required.
* Must use direct & static links. No rel=nofollow attributes or redirects.
* Your robots.txt file must not block search engine spiders from crawling and indexing your listings/links.

* NEW * We are not going to include directories who simply accept all sites submitted to them; allow submitters to spam keywords in titles and descriptions; or who do not edit badly punctuated submission information. If you aren't interested in maintaining quality in your resource, then we are not interested in adding you to our quality resource.

* If your directory does not offer the SITE TITLE for free as part of the submission then it does not meet the criteria of being SEO Friendly, since this is the most important aspect of listing in a directory.

* If you offer your directory for review then change it from Free to Reciprocal or Pay for Inclusion during the review period, then your directory will be removed and will have to wait for the next update before being considered again (even if you change the site back to free).

* If you decide to change your directory from Free to Reciprocal or Pay for Inclusion after an update and it is flagged for removal, then your directory will be removed as per the next update and you will have to wait one full update before being considered again (even if you change the site back to free after being flagged).

* URL provided for the directory under review must lead directly to the directory and not redirect or initiate popups. Those that are not direct or that contain popups will be rejected/removed.

* DO NOT PM ME FOR INCLUSION YOU WILL BE IGNORED AND SO WILL YOUR DIRECTORY *

Cap Rules:
======
With the 500 Cap now in effect, we will not add new directories until the cap drops below 500 (i.e. directories that are currently in the list are removed due to no longer meeting the criteria).

In the situation where there are more directories than places available on the list, precedence will be given to the directories with the highest PR. This is an interim measure to be used for the time-being until the new format is complete.

Hello, I use this website very often. But I am from Germany, my english is not so good, but I bestir myself to understand the rules to use the SEo-friendly Logo on our new Directory www.mens-fashion-directory.com, which is totally free an seo-friendly

It´s our job and hobby to optimize different URLS and this Directory is a seo-friendly -projekt. Non commercial, of course.
The Directory inherit page rank and works with real following links.

I'm not ignoring this thread, I'm just overwhelmed testing the new site. It is mind-numbing, I know that much :)

@claretboy - you need to read the first thread in my signature. The directory was removed because it had a number of poor submissions listed. I'm happy to return directories back into the list, as long as they are meeting the guidelines I set out in that thread.

Well my hosting account was hacked and all my sites hosted on that account was deleted, every file, every folder, just gone in the blink of an eye, like they never existed.

- Top Blog Directory, I don't see the "topsite" connection... Just looks like a blog directory to me. The only difference is they use subdomains instead of subfolders for the categories (which looks to be a good way to achieve indexation).
