SEO Friendly Certification

I have decided to introduce an SEO Friendly Certification Button for those directories who wish to indicate that their directory has been validated by me as an SEO friendly resource.

NB: There are two rules when using this image.

1. The link to this site's homepage MUST remain as part of the image display. If it does not, then you are violating my conditions for use of this image.

2. You cannot display this button unless your directory is on either the General, Pay-For-Inclusion or Niche Directory Lists on this site. If you are not on my lists, then you have not been certified by me.

To use the SEO friendly certification button on your site simply paste the following code, where you want the button to appear, on your site.

There is no need to download any images. The code will grab the button from my site, saving you bandwidth. The dimensions of the image are 88 x 31.

The following directories are scheduled for review and addition to the next Info Vilesilencer update. If your directory isn't listed below it currently is not under review. Please submit your directory in this thread if you wish to be added to the SEO Friendly Free Directory List next update.


Inclusion Rules
=============
To be listed on info vilesilencer your directory must meet the following criteria.

* Must have a UFO (unconditionally free option). No reciprocal required.
* Must use direct & static links. No rel=nofollow attributes or redirects.
* Your robots.txt file must not block search engine spiders from crawling and indexing your listings/links.


* If your directory does not offer the SITE TITLE for free as part of the submission then it does not meet the criteria of being SEO Friendly, since this is the most important aspect of listing in a directory.

* If you offer your directory for review then change it from Free to Reciprocal or Pay for Inclusion during the review period, then your directory will be removed and will have to wait for the next update before being considered again (even if you change the site back to free).

* If you decide to change your directory from Free to Reciprocal or Pay for Inclusion after an update and it is flagged for removal, then your directory will be removed as per the next update and you will have to wait one full update before being considered again (even if you change the site back to free after being flagged).

* URL provided for the directory under review must lead directly to the directory and not redirect or initiate popups. Those that are not direct or that contain popups will be rejected/removed.

* DO NOT PM ME FOR INCLUSION YOU WILL BE IGNORED AND SO WILL YOUR DIRECTORY *

Cap Rules:
======
With the 500 Cap now in effect, we will not add new directories until the cap drops below 500 (i.e. directories that are currently in the list are removed due to no longer meeting the criteria).

In the situation where there are more directories than places available on the list, precedence will be given to the directories with the highest PR. This is an interim measure to be used for the time-being until the new format is complete.

Is standard for most directories.
- Blbid, clubftp, Your Joker all offer free submission, the reciprocal condition is on a specific type of site.
- World Site List appears to be working now
- Add URLs Free worked for me

I've begun flagging directories who have an obvious case of poor editing.

If your directory appears in that list, it will be denoted with weak editing detected and placed in the list in this thread for removal.

If you want to get back into the list, please remove the bad sites from your directories. I've given clear examples that demonstrate the weak site submissions that have slipped through the editors net.

I want to help you. So if you are having trouble identifying/removing these bad sites let me know and I will do my best to assist.

This is a necessary procedure. Too many people are creating too many mediocre directories that allow almost anything through. All it does is turn a list of good directories into a much bigger list of mediocre directories with some good ones.

This site is not about size, it is about quality. We will take whatever steps are necessary to ensure that quality is a key criteria in remaining on the list.

fyi - dir.atwebpages.info is mine and is still in action, I have been reviewing links and yes it still has options for free submissions:

- Londovor on the other hand is an extreme. It is obvious that the directory is not actively adding free sites and may only be adding paid submissions. I've flagged this one for removal.

I think any free directory that has added no sites in 1 month is clearly demonstrating that they are either not interested in adding sites for free (meaning they are only adding sites who pay) or they are not interested in running a directory. In any event, they shouldn't be on the free list.

Thats pretty strange :confused: . I have never submitted any domain to your directory. This is the first time I tried to submit my site www.QualityBusinessLinks.com to your directory. As far as my site is concerned, its a legit site. You can check.
I don't think I ever spamed any site ever!!
And right now when I'm trying to open your site, its not even giving 403.
It just says "Page Cannot Be Displayed".
Checked through proxy and can see the site opening properly, I guess, you have either blocked my ass or may be the region where I'm living which is India.

I've been planning to do it for a few weeks now, but things keep interrupting me. Basically right now my time is incredibly short hence the long delays in responses here.

I've just received week 10 of the site build and it is massive, I need to check that, and it is a priority over doing any updating. That could take me a full week, plus I have to help friends move today, and it is mothers day tomorrow, so my weekend is already gone before it starts.

All I can ask for is some patience, because this will be the last update people have to wait for. Next time it will be on the new system, and they will update daily. :)
