Niche Directory List

I may be a little confused, but how do we get the entire list of directories for a particular niche. In particular, I'm looking for the finance directories so I went to "Niche Directory List" on the left hand side of the index page, and clicked "Financial." There are only 4 directories there and they are all under the title "Newly Added."

Are these all the directories, or just the newly added ones? If they are just the newly added ones, how can I see all the financial directories?

ahhh ok I guess that is a bit misleading. That is all of them. The newly added bit was just carried over from the seo-friendly.php page template. I use 1 page to control all those pages via PHP, so it's kinda stuck like that.

The list of niches are small. There just aren't that many niche directories that are free & seo friendly. They really only supplement the general list at the moment. So if your site is a financial one, I would submit to the 256 on the general list and then the 4 on the niche list. The benefit of the 4 links on the niche list is that they are highly relevant to your website, whereas the general directories are obviously less relevant.

I am trying to encourage people to build niche directories instead of general ones, but people get stars in their eyes. General directories get more traffic, which equals more chance for google adsense revenue... Niche directories are much more useful but since the traffic is smaller people aren't building them, IMO.

I figured it was something like that.

I posted my niche personal finance directory on the Directories board and I haven't received any replies...does that mean it will be in the next update?
